Hampton Lovett Westwood Parish Council serves the residents of RTAA and RTAB, which identify the 380 residents of Hampton Lovett and 85 residents of Westwood. RTAA and RTAB is the designation given by Wychavon District Council for their Electoral Rolls Hampton Lovett and Westwood. The Council has four Councillors representing Hampton Lovett and three representing Westwood, they act in unison to cover both Parishes. The Council have one full time Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO).

The Parish Council meets four times a year with the seven Councillors, the Clerk, two representatives from the District Council and one representative from the County Council.

The Council serves a diversity of population across all spectrums and has two major areas for employment, Stone Cross and Hampton Lovett Industrial Estate. Stone Cross being one of the show employment areas within Wychavon and will be developed over another 20 Hectares over the next 10 years.  Over the last 20 years the changing nature of farming has meant that four of the major farms have had considerable change and been allowed to convert from farming to residential occupancy with at least two major rebuilds to allow modern farming to take place in purpose built buildings.  Along with the Barn Conversions and a limited amount of pepperpot development, this has allowed the Parish to develop and introduce new families.

The Parish has two major A roads linked through the area, the A4133 Droitwich to Ombersley and the A442 Droitwich to Kidderminster main roads.  Both these main roads are totally inadequate for the current traffic levels and present maximum vehicle sizes, thus the Council regularly spend time looking to see where traffic controls and limited improvements can been made to minimize various dangerous sections.  The Parish is also crisscrossed by the Monarch Way and the Wychavon Way and a pair of notable walks.

The Parish Council operates with a precept of £11,500 per annum with a Lengthsman's budget of £2,023 and is subject to an Annual Audit currently carried out by PKF LITTLEJOHN LLP.

The Parish Council works with the National Association of Local Councils (NALC), which is based in Malvern.

The Parish Council meets on the first Wednesday  of

March, June, September and December
